LET’S KEEP EVERY KID ON THE TEAM
Contributions are
now being accepted from parents, booster clubs, and the Marple
Newtown community, to ensure every student has the opportunity to
participate in extracurricular activities, regardless of current
financial challenges. The Tiger Foundation has established the
Activities Fee Assistance Fund to assist Marple Newtown families
struggling to pay their children’s annual Activities Fee.
The annual
Activities Fee was instituted by the Marple Newtown School Board
beginning the 2009-2010 school year for students participating in
extracurricular activities, to help cover the school district’s costs in
providing these experiences. The Fee is $75 per child (with a maximum
of $150 per family), regardless of the number of activities or sports
per child, payable when the student first participates in an activity
during the school year.
To help ensure
every student has the opportunity to participate in extracurricular
activities, please send a personal, booster, or community contribution
to: The Tiger Foundation, Activities Fee Assistance Fund, Attention:
Donna Narron, 40 Media Line Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073.
